WELCOME to the Vancouver Chapter
Founded in 2004
Where: The Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites, 1763 Comox Street (at Denman), Vancouver. (YES! That is our view above!) When: 4th Tuesday of each month, from September to June
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $35.00 for all VWN members, $38.00 for non-members/guests (Payable by Cheque/Cash only) The meeting cost includes a light dinner, warm and friendly conversation, fun and games, and guest speakers that inspire and inform. (Exception: Special banquet in June when cost is higher.)

Our Next Meeting is on March 23
We have a very fun and interactive meeting planned as we highlight the two Charities we are supporting this year. We'll hear two participants from 'Dress for Success' and 'Pacific Immigrant Resources Society' share their stories.We'll be taught more on how to dress for success ourselves by our own Chapter Secretary, Katherine Lazaruk of ICU Image Consulting. And...this is the month to weed out your closets and bring all your still-in-fashion items to donate to DFS.
What can you expect from our meeting?
Guests are welcome to check us out a couple of times before joining. We are a warm group of women who have a variety of businesses or are employees. From Architects, Designers, Mortgage Brokers and Fashion Consultants, to Home Based Businesses, Artists, Children's Entertainers and More! You bring a fresh perspective and another voice to our group which is welcome. We encourage members to keep the networking going throughout the month with 'intentional coffees' and phone calls with a purpose!
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm. Register, browse the vendor tables and enjoy a glass of wine as you chat with other members! Dinner is served at 7 pm. There is a guest speaker each month and table talk around a variety of questions hosted at each table by a woman from our Core. Door prizes are donated each month from our vendors and are drawn from our 50/50 raffle.
Trade show tables are available and we set up a 'Members Only' table where you can display your information, upcoming events, and other advertising. (See Policies Below)

Parking:
FREE! Cost is included for Comox St lot. Please tell the parking attendant you are attending the VWN banquet.
Membership:
$35.00 annual membership fee. July—June. All cheques: advertising & membership (payment at door preferred) may be sent to our Chapter's Treasurer: Isabelle Bertrand 2438 Treetop Lane, North Vancouver, BC V7H 2K5.

Information:
Please note this is a Women's only Networking Association. We mainly draw Speakers from within our own association as we are the largest Women's Networking group in the Province of BC and therefore have a plethora of business experience and wisdom to draw from. If you are interested in speaking to our group, we encourage you to come to a couple of meetings first, find out if we're your kind of group and then become a member. After that, let's talk!
We have a strict view of spamming. Please do not plan to join the Network in order to access our members for your database for mass e-mails. This is not allowed and doesn't foster good business relations! We have a wonderful membership based on trust, friendship and longtime relationship. Networking takes time and business happens when you know and trust the other person!

- Table set-up can begin anytime after 6:00 pm.
- Tables are on a first-come, first-serve basis so reserve early so you are not disappointed! When reserving your table please advise the business or product you are advertising.
- The purpose of the trade show table is to maximize lead generation and for sales. You are to collect business cards at your table and will draw for your door prize from your own collection. You will be given a maximum of 1 minute at the podium (meeting time allowing) to announce your business and to announce the winner of the prize. You are free to follow-up with those individuals who left their business card at your table.
- Please bring the email authorizing your networking table. The printed email from VWN will list the name of the business you are advertising. This will minimize the chances of having duplicate businesses advertising the same product.
